My trip to.....

HAWAII!!!

We thought that we would take a trip to Hawaii the end of September. My aunt needed help with painting her house and what a good excuse it was for a trip! I took Kalia and left Emily home. My sister Chistine came with her daughter Melanie and my brother came with Karen and thier two boys Corbin and Ryker... and lets not forget my parents of course!
Here we are on the airplane getting ready to take off. I am sooooo glad that I sat by Christine!! At first they had me separate from them cause they were flying on buddy passes and I was flying on an employee pass, but I asked the gate agent if he would sit us together and he did. I was worried what I would do with Kalia if it were just me sitting by stragers with a wild and crazy baby who will not hold still!!

Shon and Ryker sat right behind us and Karen and Corbin sat behind them. My parents sat in the far back. hehehehe Ryker fell asleep before we even took off!!

It took Kalia a while for her to fall asleep, but when she finally did zonk out she was sprawled accross our laps (mostly Christine's) thanks be to her... she and Melanie were a HUGE help with Kalia!!

I thought that this was funny! Kalia loves water. She loves to go swimming, she loves the bath, she loves the sprinklers, but she did not love the ocean! This is the first time I tried to put her in the water and she didn't want anything to do with it. She would lift her legs up and she had this permanent scowel on her face! It was so funny.

Of course one of the days we drove up to the north shore and went to Motsimoto's. If you ever go to Hawaii you have to come here. It is a total tourist attraction, but even so... you have to go here! They have the best shave ice ever! It's huge and yummy and has ice cream on the bottom. I always get the same flavors... lilikoi(passion fruit), almond and coconut. So good!

Kalia LOVED having tastes of everyones!

And this is how the days ended!!! We drug Kalia all over and she crashed every night!

So much fun! And my aunts house looks good too. Glad we went!
